Major sources of funds are realized through the running of a weekly charitable bingo session in Richmond Hill, which provides core operating funding for our program. During the year we also engage in an annual bowlarama fundraiser which along with raising monies for S.W.I.F.T. creates a fun afternoon for members and their families.
Our board of directors is constantly seeking new and innovative ways of generating funds for S.W.I.F.T. We are looking to develop ideas that are creative and fun for our members to encourage them to come out to these events and participate along with their families. |
We have a year-end party usually held at a member’s home in Toronto where we gather with friends and family to enjoy some good food and reminisce over the past year and plan for the next. Worthy of note – all S.W.I.F.T socials are alcohol free.
